Product Details

A lane picks a route across the lonely Pevensey Levels in East Sussex. Above a rising moon washes the marsh with silver light, creating magical moon dogs in the thin veil of clouds draped across the night sky. All the while the distant Sir Isaac Newton telescope house watches sightlessly on, from the site of the old Greenwich Observatory at Herstmoncuex Castle.

The intense sense of solitude I feel when I'm on the marsh on a winter's night, always makes me feel like I'm inhabiting a Thomas Hardy novel, so when I began to think about a title, I drew from his poem 'To the Moon' to find the perfect fit.
