of shepherds and flintmen
It is no secret I'm incredibly inspired by my native landscape. The interaction of the human hand is so ancient - that many do not quite grasp how much of the natural world we hold dear is in fact the result of human intervention for thousands of years. The South Downs is an obvious example, and this engraving is a reflection of this- this timeless landscape; Mount Caburn and Firle Beacon viewed from near Ditchling Beacon. A landscape completely shaped by generations bending the land to their will in an effort to survive. A landscape of shepherds and flintmen (and everyone between).
As with all my engravings it is printed onto a high quality hand made acid free paper this print is in an edition of 100 and measure 140mm x 110mm. Postage and packaging is included within the price
